Uh-oh. Looks like someone has a bad habit. But, we all do. Everybody has something they know they should give up. Whether it’s candy, cigars, or being late, there are some things one should try to stop doing.

It’s only human to have bad habits. They might be hard to break, but they are not without consequence. Smoking, overeating, and overspending are just some of the bad habits that cost people happiness. Which bad habits are you guilty of? Pick one, or maybe two, and work to break them this month. You might find your life becomes richer and better because of it.

1. Ignoring Responsibilities

We’ve all heard the excuse: “I’m neglecting small things so I can accomplish big ones.” When we continually neglect our responsibilities and tasks, they weigh on us and become burdensome. This is especially true when we use the excuse of “neglecting small things to accomplish bigger ones.”
